OCC Shoebox Collection a Great Success

All the glory belongs to Jesus, but great thanks go to those who worked diligently at the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox collection center. Sunday, November 22nd our congregation collected 454 shoeboxes! Throughout the week, the Collection Center took in and crated 6274 shoeboxes! 17,655 shoeboxes left our church parking lot!!! Youth names have been officially changed!!!!! Jr. High is now called “Fuel” and High School is now called “Refuge.” The youth rooms which were formally known as “The Cave” are now called “Catacombs.” We are really excited about the new names and if you have any questions about them we would love to talk with you.

A Pajama Tree?

What symbolizes warmth and security more that a cuddly pair of “jammies”? The deacons are collecting children’s size pj bottoms and hooded zip front sweatshirts to donate to the Clothes Sharing Program. Please place your donations on the tree in the parlor by December 13th so they may be distributed in time for Christmas.
