Hey! Haven’t you heard? Kids Cantata August 1st-5th

Hey Kids 2nd – 8th Grade! Do you love singing, acting and having too much fun? It’s almost time for the 1st ever Kids Cantata Week August 1st- 5th, 9:00-12:00 at First Presbyterian Church. This will be a fun filled (VBSlike) week where kids 2nd-8th grade will have the opportunity to sing, act, work on sets and props, learn movement and about King David and God’s Word.

This year’s project will be King David and the National Treasure. It is a 20 minute cantata with 5 songs and a small dramatization. The culmination of this great week of fun will be when we share our project in worship, Sunday August 7th. It is important that all who participate in Kids Cantata week are available for this performance time. Get ready for more summer fun! Registration Fee $20/child ($40 family maximum)*

*Registration fee is to cover the cost of supplies for this new ministry and T shirts for the performance. If this is a hardship for your family please make Carolyn McSween (Director of Children’s Ministry) aware and arrangements can be made.
