Our Inclemate Weather Policy

With the flooding rains and school closings, this is a good opportunity to state our Inclemate Weather Policy.

Weekday events follow the Lewisburg School District policies: If there is an early morning delay then the church office has a delayed opening. If the delay is on a Wednesday morning then the youth early morning breakfast, prayer group and the woman’s Bible study are all cancelled.

If there is an early dismissal; then evening events at First Presbyterian Church are also cancelled for the night.

The church office will remained closed if school is cancelled for the day.

We will always gather to worship on Sunday morning.  Please use your discretion when trying to make it to worship. Travel only when it is safe and permitted by local authorities.

Please feel free to call Rev. Jim King (524-5464) or the secretary Sharon Dittmar (568-0579) at their homes if you can’t reach them at the office during inclement weather days.
