Poinsettias for the Sanctuary
Posted on 13. Nov, 2011 by pking in News
Poinsettias have been associated with Christmas since the 1600s. A Mexican folk tale tells of a poor girl who wanted to contribute to the town’s nativity celebration but could bring only weeds. Her modest presentation was transformed into beautiful flowers.
Poinsettias will adorn our sanctuary during December. The cost is $10/plant and may be placed in honor or memory of a loved one. Use the form in the bulletin or contact the office (524-4419 or info@first-presby.org)
